Electrical power outage causing disruption to some IT services, February 11th

Following system and cooling stress testing, the queues are now open again.

We are currently performing tests on all cluster nodes, and on the cooling system in the room.

Queues are available for job submissions, but user jobs will not start until the system testing is completed.


A College-wide brown-out occurred on Saturday 11th September.

Core TCHPC networking services have been restored.

The main TCHPC hosted services have been restored.

Logins are available on the Lonsdale cluster headnode for access to files on the /home, /projects and /gscratch areas.

No cluster queues are active as yet.

Services will be restored during the day (Monday 13th).
