Visualisation at TCHPC

The Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing maintains a 3-D Visualisation facility with stereoscopic capabilities.

During the last five years, the Centre has been developing a visualisation initiative to provide its users with the most advanced technology in three dimensional data representation. It has already undertaken several Scientific Visualisation projects in several areas, amongst them, Spintronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Chemistry and Biochemistry.

As an addition to its role as provider of support to Trinity College's Computer Graphics Research Groups, this projects have been conducted as part of the TCHPC strategy of developing visualisation expertise in the Centre.

Other goals of the centre include using HPC hardware to further the visualisation field and to promote the training of scientists in the computer visualisation field.
