I am completing a PhD in the Institute of Neuroscience investigating the neural substrates of emotional memory formation. I am utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to measure functional and structural neural networks which contribute to memory formation, and how these change across the lifespan. I am using the TCHPC to analyze a type of MRI data called diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), which is a way of quantifying white matter connectivity and integrity in the human brain.
