The Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing aims to create an internationally competitive Centre for advanced computing and visualisation on the island of Ireland. Our objectives are to:

• encourage, stimulate, and enable internationally competitive research in all academic disciplines through the use of advanced computing techniques.

• train thousands of graduates in the techniques and applications of advanced computing across all academic disciplines.

• bring the power of advanced computing to industry and business with a special emphasis placed on small and medium sized enterprises functioning in knowledge intensive niches.

• become a recognized and profitable element of the infrastructure of the Information Technology industry located throughout the island of Ireland.

• develop, nurture, and spin-off several commercial ventures supplying advanced computing solutions to business and industry.
